Coffee cluster

The coffee cluster looks lovely. I didn't expect the coffee cluster to be red in color. Are those black coffee beans under the sun the "whole fruits" or just the "seeds" of the cluster?

Thanks IF!
Yes, the raw fruit (cherry) is red in color. In the traditional drying method, whole coffee cherries are spread out in the sun.. As the cherries dry they lose the moisture and turn black.

Ponapa,
Thanks! The answer is beyond my expectation (I always taught the black coffee bean is the seed) So the cherries must be quite small in size as the black coffee beans in the market are quite tiny?
